Jesus Consciousness vs. Christ Consciousness

Is there a difference? yes and no.

Christ Consciousness is always there. Was never created, never destroyed, and always everlasting, always eternally begotten from the Father. Meaning what? It wasn't begotten at any time or place. It was always begotten. That is why it is called "eternally" by the Catholic church. Christ Consciousness has other names. In Tibet, it is Buddha Consciousness. In India it is Krishna Consciousness. Christ-Buddha-Krishna Consciousness is the Lord! All the same spirit, all the same mind. Christ means "Anointed One", Buddha means "Awakened One", and Krishna means "Dark Blue One". Dark blue or "purple" refers to the color of Christ Consciousness, the color of the seventh chakra, that is why the mythological story of Krishna he appears dark blue or darkish purple.

The Jesus-consciousness was created as a Pattern and the Way back to God. It was Jesus who made his pattern and consciousness at-one with the Christ consciousness making them one and the same. The path that Jesus created it universal and the ultimate path to God. Jesus sums up everything. Either you are a Buddhist trying to attain perfection by overcoming self and attaining nirvana, or a Hindu and practicing Yoga or "Kriya Yoga" the holy science of reaching the seventh Chakra, they can all be connected to Jesus. Jesus did all these things and more. Jesus decided to create a thought-form for all the world can follow, a pattern between God and Man. This is why Jesus has received the special title of "the only begotten son of God". In the sense that he is the only soul who purely reflected God where there is no distinction. No ego. No thought of self. Just pure love. The Divine Love. And that is Jesus' whole mission. He was the manifestation of God's Divine Love.

So all followers of Christianity can chant- "Jesus Christ Consciousness", it is two things made one. For when one meditates in Christ-consciousness Jesus can come to them. Even if it is a thousand people meditating on Christ consciousness, Jesus can come to them at once, within themselves. In Church when one receives the Eucharist it is receiving the Christ Consciousness within. The physical outward manifestation while the disciple, the devotee meditates on Christ during prayer. Here we have the outer and inner Christ. The Eucharist reminds the disciple of Jesus' everlasting life, and the meditating brings the disciple to be Christ-minded or Christ-conscious.

Those who have followed in Christ Consciousness and have allowed the Lord Jesus to work through them and helped  them become Ascended Masters-

St. Francis, St. Theresa of Avila, Therese of Nuemann, Sri Yukestwar, Lahiri Mahayana, Babaji-Krishna, St. Paul, St. Peter, Mother Theresa, Paramahansa Yogananda, and many others. These Saints can dwell within just as Jesus Christ dwells within them.
